You’ll be accompanied by a Travel Director and Driver team who take care of every detail—logistics, bookings, transport, hotel check-ins, and more—so you can focus on enjoying your journey. You’ll also meet our Local Specialists who bring destinations to life with insider stories and authentic experiences.

Your Travel Director is your guide, organizer, and all-around travel companion on the road. Trained and experienced, they know the destinations inside out and are passionate about showing you what guidebooks can’t—local culture, hidden gems, and unique stories. Pinoy Tourism’s Travel Directors and Drivers are industry professionals who ensure each guest enjoys a smooth and enriching experience.

You’ll receive an introduction email from Pinoy Tourism around 12 days before your tour departs. Your Travel Director will follow up with a more detailed message (around 5 days before departure) including meeting details and pre-tour reminders. For Asia and Africa tours, you’ll meet your Travel Director on Day 1 at the location stated in your Travel Documents.

Your Travel Director will share important updates in person throughout the trip—on the coach, during orientations, or at hotels. They may also use WhatsApp Communities to send quick reminders or share photos. Please note that WhatsApp requires data or Wi-Fi; any mobile charges are the traveler’s responsibility. To avoid high costs, consider turning off roaming or using local prepaid SIM cards.

Travel Documents

+ Expand all

Your Travel Documents will be available in your My Pinoy Tourism Travel Portal account about 21 days before departure, once your profile (including passport and emergency contact details) is complete.

Your welcome meeting time and location can be found in your itinerary under Day 1, and within your Travel Documents. If your trip starts in London or another major hub, our regional team will confirm sightseeing schedules and your Travel Director’s meeting point.

Coach Travel

+ Expand all

This depends on your itinerary and destinations. We ensure regular photo stops and breaks so you can stretch, enjoy the scenery, and make the most of the journey.

Our fleet of fuel-efficient, comfortable coaches feature reclining seats, air-conditioning, and large windows for great views. Some regions use smaller coaches or vans based on terrain and group size.
Typical facilities may include:

  • Charging points: USB or standard power outlets (varies per region)

  • Restrooms: Available on most large coaches; regular stops are made otherwise

Wi-Fi: Available in most destinations, though limited in remote areas

Each guest may bring one suitcase (stored under the coach) and one small carry-on. Space is limited, so avoid wheeled hand luggage. Essentials like a small backpack, reading material, or headphones are ideal for onboard use.

Yes, we practice seat rotation to ensure everyone enjoys different views and has the chance to mingle with fellow travelers.

Hotels and Porterage

+ Expand all

You can find hotel details for your entire trip in your Travel Documents, available around three weeks before departure once your profile is complete.

We partner with quality 3- and 4-star hotels globally, including trusted names and unique heritage stays that reflect each destination’s culture and charm.

Check-in usually starts between 2–3 PM. If you arrive early, hotel staff can store your luggage so you can explore nearby attractions. Throughout your tour, your Travel Director will manage check-ins and handle luggage delivery to your room.

Most of our hotels offer air conditioning, though in some cooler or historic regions (like parts of the UK or national parks), it may not be standard.

Many hotels offer laundry services, though costs vary. Packing enough clothing for your entire tour is recommended to avoid mid-trip laundry stops.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in most hotel rooms or common areas. Your Travel Director will provide access details upon check-in.

Yes, porterage is included for one item of luggage per guest. Your suitcase will be delivered to your room, while you only handle your hand-carry.

Food, Drink, and Dietary Requirements

+ Expand all

Your itinerary and Travel Documents outline the included meals—usually a mix of hotel breakfasts and local dining experiences.

We can accommodate most common dietary needs (vegetarian, diabetic, gluten-free, etc.) with advance notice. Please indicate your preferences in your My Pinoy Tourism Travel Portal profile. Religious-specific meals (e.g., Kosher or Halal) may not always be available in certain regions.

Bring a reusable water bottle to minimize plastic use. In most European and developed destinations, tap water is safe. Your Travel Director will advise when bottled water is preferred.

Itinerary, Inclusions, and Optional Experiences

+ Expand all

Your tour includes accommodation, transport, a Travel Director and Driver, and a curated range of experiences. You can view all inclusions and optional add-ons in your Travel Documents or itinerary.

Yes! Every Pinoy Tourism itinerary blends guided sightseeing with leisure time for personal exploration. You can also join Optional Experiences, which are offered and paid for during your tour.

Optional Experiences cannot be prebooked to give you flexibility during your trip. Your Travel Director will introduce available options and pricing once your tour begins.

Absolutely. Your Travel Director can recommend great restaurants, scenic spots, or local markets based on your interests.

Tipping & Gratuities

+ Expand all

Tips and gratuities for included services are already covered in your tour price. If you wish to show extra appreciation to your Travel Director or Driver, you can do so directly or through your My Pinoy Tourism Travel Portal under “Prepaid Gratuities.”

In some regions, tipping customs vary. As a general guide:

  • North America: 15–20% in restaurants

  • Europe: 5–10% unless a service charge is added

Asia: Tipping isn’t mandatory but always appreciated for great service

Wi-Fi & Data Roaming

+ Expand all

Yes, Wi-Fi is available on most coaches and hotels. However, connectivity may vary by location. Pinoy Tourism is not responsible for data or roaming charges, so please check with your provider or consider local SIM options.

Mobility

+ Expand all

Each tour lists an activity level so you can choose what suits you best. Expect a fair amount of walking during sightseeing—comfortable shoes are a must.

Not all tours can accommodate scooters due to space and terrain. Please contact us before booking if you need mobility assistance.

Wellbeing & Personal Belongings

+ Expand all

Your Travel Director will assist you in getting medical help if needed. Pinoy Tourism also provides on-ground support across regions to coordinate with local authorities or your insurance provider. However, personal medical costs are your responsibility, so travel insurance is essential.

Keep valuables secure and out of sight. Carry only what’s needed, and use hotel safes when available. Stay aware of your surroundings, especially in busy public areas.

Sustainability

+ Expand all

Yes. We are committed to responsible travel and partner with communities that promote cultural preservation and environmental care. Through our Travel with Purpose initiatives, we support projects that make tourism a force for good.

Starting July 2025, Greece introduced this fee to support sustainable tourism and local infrastructure. It applies to guests disembarking at Greek ports and is charged by cruise operators, not by Pinoy Tourism.
