Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and meet your local driver/guide for transfer to your hotel. After check-in, unwind from your journey and take the rest of the day at leisure to explore nearby streets or relax in your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani dinner at a local restaurant.
Start your day with breakfast before driving to the Shahdag Mountain Resort via Guba. On the way, stop at the striking Candy Cane Mountains — a unique pinkish-red striped hill formation — for photos and exploration. At Shahdag, enjoy a range of seasonal activities, from skiing and snowboarding in winter to hiking, quad biking, and horseback riding in summer. Lunch is served at a mountain café or resort restaurant. Return to Baku in the evening for dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour to Gobustan National Park, home to ancient petroglyphs and dramatic mud volcanoes. Continue to the Absheron Peninsula to visit the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple and the naturally blazing hillside of Yanar Dag. End your day with an optional stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center before returning to Baku for dinner at a local restaurant.

The trip to Shahdag Resort was thrilling! Skiing and exploring the mountain trails made me feel like I was on a full winter adventure. The views of the surrounding mountains were spectacular.
Baku’s streets are alive with energy! From modern architecture to historic alleyways, every corner felt exciting. The local dinner on our first night was a perfect introduction to Azerbaijani hospitality.
