Arrive in Hobart and settle into your hotel overlooking Constitution Dock. Take a leisurely stroll along the Derwent River or explore the bustling docks before joining your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a welcoming dinner.
Embark on a Hobart city tour featuring the panoramic views from Mt. Nelson Lookout, the historic Cascade Brewery, charming Battery Point, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Later, wander through Salamanca Market to enjoy local crafts, food, and art.
Journey west through Mt. Field National Park to see the cascading Russell Falls, then stop at Lake St. Clair. Continue through the rugged Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park and past Queenstown before arriving in Strahan for the evening. Dinner is served at View 42 Restaurant & Bar.
Enjoy a scenic cruise along the Gordon River and explore the historic Sarah Island Penal Settlement. Continue to Cradle Mountain, where you’ll stay surrounded by the alpine forest at Cradle Mountain Hotel.
Spend a full day exploring the natural wonders of Cradle Mountain National Park, including Waldheim Chalet and the stunning Dove Lake. Optional nocturnal wildlife tours are available for evening adventure.
Visit Penguin for tastings at local distilleries, then enjoy a Be My Guest lunch at Mount Gnomon Farm hosted by a local farmer. Continue through Sheffield on the way to Launceston.
