Your safari journey begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be greeted at the airport and escorted to your hotel. In the evening, meet your fellow travellers and Driver Guide over a memorable welcome dinner at the renowned Carnivore restaurant.
Leave the bustle of Nairobi behind as you travel north to Aberdare National Park. En route, stop in Kenya’s central highlands to learn about local coffee and tea production. Tonight, stay in a unique lodge with dramatic views of the surrounding wilderness and its wildlife.
From the lush highlands, descend into the dramatic, arid landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. This is the land of the “Samburu Special 5” – including the Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Spend the night in a luxury tented camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Rise early for a morning game drive through Samburu’s acacia-dotted landscapes. Return to camp for some relaxation, then head out again in the afternoon in search of elephants, lions and perhaps even the elusive leopard.
Travel to the famed Ol Pejeta Conservancy, East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary. Learn about its groundbreaking conservation work and meet rescued chimpanzees at Sweetwaters Sanctuary. This evening, relax at your tented camp and watch wildlife gather at the nearby waterhole.
Stop at the scenic Thomson’s Falls before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park. On an afternoon game drive, keep your eyes peeled for flamingos along the lakeshore as well as rhinos, lions, and leopards hiding in the woodlands.
Travel into the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, where the sweeping golden plains and abundant wildlife set the stage for unforgettable safari moments. Settle into your lodge, perfectly placed for game-viewing adventures.
Spend a full day exploring the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Visit a local Maasai village for an insight into their colourful traditions and culture.
After a final morning game drive, return to Nairobi. A day room at Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport is available for you to freshen up before your evening flight home.
